Irish Climate and Weather Forecast for Ireland
Ireland Weather Ireland Weather Forecast Ireland Climate Irish Climate Ireland Weather Ireland Weather Forecast There's no denying it – it rains a lot in Ireland, but how else would the rugged beauty of the Donegal coastline and the unspoilt waterways of the Shannon teem with wildlife?

After two days of sun, the locals joke that the summer is over. The climate is temperate with average summer temperatures ranging from 15-20°C and winter from 5-8°C.

Any time of year, showers are a threat, though it's not the kind of soaking rain that sets in relentlessly for days on end. Don't let it put a damper on your summer plans, though—a bit of rain never stopped an Irish.

 Irish Climate & Clothing
Climate in Ireland: Ireland is notorious for experiencing cold, damp weather for much of the time. This is due to its temperate climate, but is compensated for by its delightful green countryside.

Ireland is, however, possible to enjoy some warm, sunny and dry days during the pleasant summer months between May and September, and this is the best time to travel to Ireland.

Irish winter days are short, usually rainy and foggy, but the Gulf Stream winds batter the west coast ensuring that temperatures remain above freezing.

Required Clothing for Ireland: Light- to mediumweights and rainwear are advised.
